Brighton and Hove Albion came back from two goals down to claim a point against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon at Anfield.

Jordan Henderson gave the hosts the lead with a brilliant, whipped strike before Sadio Mane doubled the tally with a free header.

Enock Mwepu then scored a stunning goal to grab a goal back before half time. He may not have meant it but his lofted effort from long range beat Alisson who scrambled back to his line.

Just after the hour mark, Leandro Trossard levelled the scores with a composed finish. The Belgian picked up the ball in the box, beat Andrew Robertson and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

The comeback means that Brighton are now unbeaten in three games against Liverpool. The Seagulls drop down to sixth but will be happy with their result, whereas Liverpool see Chelsea move further ahead at the top of the table.

What a brilliant half of football that was!

It has been end to end at Anfield. Brighton have been impressive when on the ball, causing the hosts plenty of problems and they could well be level if they had been able to finish their chances.

Liverpool will be happy to have the lead at the break. They've looked extremely quick on the counter and that's how they've made almost all their opportunities.

Although, despite the score, Klopp will no doubt be disappointed to have let Brighton in so many times and will be asking for improvement in the second half.
