Some house owners in Festac phase 2 wakened to their houses being demolished on Sunday morning, Nov. 28.
This comes someday after a piece of writing introduced that the Federal Housing Authority will quickly start mass demolition of buildings without approval in Festac metropolis.
Facebook person, Angel Nkiru took to her page to percentage images of houses which have been brought down.
She wrote: “got a awful information this morning.
“i am there and i’m crying because i have pals who have homes there
“Festac phase 2 abulado estate under Amuwo odofin neighborhood government under demolition by means of the FHA.
“They commenced when you consider that five am.. See lovely igbo people’s homes.. FHA stated the land isn’t permitted. I am looking human beings’s houses being destroyed and it’s painful.
