33 year old Ezinne Okparaebo is a 3 times Olympian, she the fastest woman ALIVE in the history of Norway Athletics and she is from Imo State, Nigeria.

Ezinne Okparaebo is Norway’s fastest woman alive, she holds the Norwegian national records for over 60 metres and 100 metres and has won the 100m nationals 13 times. She moved to Norway as a nine-year old and grew up in Ammerud andhe has been the fastest female sprinter in Norway since 2005. She won the silver medal at 60 metres in the women’s category in the 2009 European Athletics Indoor Championships and the bronze medal in the same discipline in 2011 European Athletics Indoor Championships.


The 33 year old has been among the world’s best sprinters for over 15 years and is seen as a trailblazer for her adopted country, Norway. Ezinne could have been running for Nigeria and dominating major tracks round the world but circumstance chose otherwise, she has now grown to be one of the most known faces when it comes to sports in Norway. She was barely 17, when she was given the opportunity of a lifetime by Norway in an international arena, according to her she never thought twice to accept the offer because representing Norway comes naturally for her.
