Popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has once again opened up about the inspiration behind his latest album, Made in Lagos (MIL), and why it had to be different from his previous projects in the past. The singer was a guest on Red Radio and he had a lot to spill including his favourite track on the highly acclaimed project.
Speaking about the different direction with the MIL album, Wizkid said he had to read the room and see how people were coping with the coronavirus pandemic.
The singer said he decided to put out a body of work that would make people feel something more than the urge to hit the club and dance. According to him, he wanted an album that people could listen to all day long, including on Sundays; a day mostly synonymous with religious activities.
