Manchester United’s chances of winning the Premier League suffers another huge setback following their 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion on Valentine’s day. The Red Devils came into the match on a not so impressive form, having been forced to draw in their previous game against Everton in their last Premier League outing. During the clash, the Red Devils surrendered a 2-0 advantage to draw 3-3 at home in what was a blow in their bid to keep City in sight as the title race hots up.

Despite their dominance soon after the goal, United nearly conceded a second in the 21st minute through Snodgrass, but David de Gea was up to the task to calmly collect the ball. The Red Devils had to wait until the closing stages of the half to restore parity, with Bruno Fernandes doing the honours with a stunning volley to ensure both sides head into the break level.
