The match between FC Porto and Sporting Braga players were forced to push an ambulance out of the pitch after it failed to move, Braga defender David Carmo had a serious ankle injury after throwing himself on the ball to prevent Luis Diaz from scoring to make it 2-0 for Porto. After the referee consulted the VAR, Diaz was given his marching orders for catching the 21-year-old Liverpool target, who suffered a terrible ankle injury in the process

This resulted in players from both sides pushing the ambulance out of the pitch which left tyre marks on the field. Porto were leading by 1-0 in the Taca de Portugal semi-final first-leg as they continued playing the match with ten men on the pitch.
