The west London side have picked just one win seven of their last fixtures in all competitions sparking speculation the Englishman could earn the sack. Whereas Chelsea are believed to be ready to afford him some more time, Metro UK reports the club’s hierarchy has already drawn up a shortlist of potential replacements should they resolve to axe Lampard.

Apart from Hasenhuttl, there are also some other high profile names being considered, including RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann. Thomas Tuchel, who was recently sacked by Paris Saint-Germain is also thought to be in the frame to replace Lampard alongside Ralf Rangnick. Defeat to struggling Fulham on Friday, January 17, is expected to pile more pressure on the Blues legend who splashed more than £250 million in the summer to sign an array of players.
