The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced that the National Identification Number (NIN) will become a compulsory requirement for obtaining a drivers license, starting from the second quarter of 2021. Daily Trust reports that this was disclosed via a statement released by the FRSC spokesperson, Bisi Kazeem. Quoting the Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, the FRSC spokesperson said the new development was in compliance with presidential directives. FRSC says NIN will become a compulsory requirement for obtaining drivers license by second quarter of 2021.
