Big Brother Naija Reality TV show, is one of the principal enemies of Nigerian youths. They allowed themselves to be used by the FG against us. Since March 2006 the program started, Nigerians (the youths) in particular, have been supportive. We burn our data 24/7, time and money voting. We hype and promote the show every here and there. What do we get in return? Absolutely NOTHING!
Now same BBNaija viewers/supporters are facing serious challenges in the country. The SARS police oppression and brutality on innocent citizens. Protesting for an immediate and permanent END to SARS.
Many countries of the world joined the protest. Some famous and powerful people international and local, supported. Twitter CEO, Google, musicians, football clubs, footballers, some private and companies and alot more. But Big Brother Naija we kill ourselves for, NEVER did.
What does that mean? It simply means that they doesn’t give damn about us. They’re only after our money. Same people we gave over 900 million votes and made billionaires, yet they couldn’t reciprocate with a single tweet to support our struggle.
If BBNaija was still ongoing, I bet you nobody would’ve participated on the EndSars protest both online and offline.
Fellow Nigerians, with same energy we uses in calling out celebrities and men of God that refuses to participate on the ongoing protests, let’s use same strength and time to call out BBNaija organizers too! Our Mumu never do?
Na reality TV show wey support our struggle we go watch. Big Brother Naija never did, not for once. Simply because they never cared about our lives. Nigerians lives doesn’t matter to them. Be wise people! #EndSars #EndSwat #EndBBNaijaTvShow
