Harry Maguire had a night to forget for England as he was sent off after just 31 minutes into the Three Lions’ defeat to Denmark.
The Manchester United defender, who was removed from the England squad in August for matches last month following an incident in Mykonos, was given his marching orders against the Danes after picking up two yellow cards.
Maguire could have no complaints for his dismissal and it summed up a miserable night for England as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat in this Nations League clash.
Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen marked his return to Wembley by scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 35th minute after referee Jesus Gil Manzano judged Kyle Walker brought down midfielder Thomas Delaney.
