Mesut Ozil could be left out of Arsenal’s Premier League squad as Mikel Arteta has until October 20 to submit a 25-man list of players that will represent the club this season. The Gunners are now left with no choice than to let go of two non-homegrown players from the Premier League squad and indications are that Ozil might be affected despite the German on £350,000-a-week contract. Arsenal failed to sell some of their ‘unwanted’ stars during the transfer window and with the addition of Thomas Partey, the number of non-homegrown players at the club now reaches 19.
