Nigeria who are three-time African champions have finally missed the chance to have Arsenal star Bukayo Saka play for them as England have handed the 20-year-old senior call. England coach Gareth Southgate on Thursday afternoon, October 1, named his squad for the three games his wards will be playing this month in which Saka was included. This has now ended the hope of Nigerians seeing the Arsenal star in the Super Eagles jersey and Bukayo Saka has also accepted the call to play for England. Since Bukayo Saka broke into Arsenal’s first team, there have been calls from Nigerian football lovers for the Nigerian Football Federation to go after him. Top Bundesliga star dumps Germany, confirms readiness to play for Super Eagles of Nigeria Amaju Pinnick who is the president of the Nigerian FA made it clear that Bukayo Saka is a good lad and his board were trying to convince him switch to Nigeria. After the announcement, Bukayo Saka took to his official twitter account to celebrate the call up to the England senior team.
